Harry Davenport (1866-1949) was an American actor. He came from a long line of actors and was also related by marriage to the Barrymores. He played Dr Meade in Gone With the Wind (1939)

- He and his Gone With the Wind co-star Thomas Mitchell (Gerald O'Hara) both appeared in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1939), which was filmed around the same time.
- He worked together with Mickey Kuhn (Beau Wilkes) in Juarez (1939), I Want A Divorce (1940) and One Foot in Heaven (1941) and This Love of Ours (1945). They made six films in total together.
- One Foot in Heaven (1941) also featured Laura Hope Crews (Pittypat Hamilton)
Trivia[]
- At age 73 he was the oldest main cast member of Gone With the Wind.
- He co-founded the Actors' Equity Association with Eddie Foy.
