Hamilton House, also known as Aunt Pittypat's House is a house in Peach Tree Street, Atlanta. As it was one of Atlanta's most northern houses, it was spared in the great fire.

History[]

This house was built by William R. Hamilton, Charles and Melanie Hamilton's father. After his death, and the death of his wife, it was inherited by Charles and Melanie. Pittypat went to live there to raise them under the watchful eye of Uncle Peter. After the death of Charles Hamilton, the house now belongs to Scarlett as his widow, and to Melanie.

Once both Melanie and Scarlett went to live in their own homes, India Wilkes joined Pittypat and they both live at the house.

In the future, it will most likely be inherited by Wade Hamilton, Charles's son, and Beau Wilkes, Melanie's son.
