Ann Rutherford (1917-2012) was a Canadian actress who played Carreen O'Hara in Gone With the Wind (1939). She was born in Canada, but raised in San Fransisco.

Like Rand Brooks (Charles Hamilton) Ann was loaned from MGM to Selznick studios. Louis Mayer was uneager to make all the effort for the minor part of Carreen, but Ann appealed to him and pleaded with him, so he allowed it.
